Product Creation Studio was awarded the prestigious 2018 GOOD DESIGN Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design for our work on motusBASEBALL, a wearable technology that seeks to prevent injury in baseball players.
The intelligent, handy motusBASEBALL has it all: it allows users to monitor and analyze the movement data of athletes comprehensively and precisely. motusBASEBALL specializes in 3D motion capture assessments and biomechanical calculations using the latest monitoring technology to protect athletes form serious injuries within the sport of baseball. The smart, versatile and robust wearable was inspired by natural stone. It feels good both in the hand on the body. A USB connection enables traveling athletes to synchronize their data and charge the device. In addition, all interactions are automated, from turning on to powering down, allowing athletes to stay focused on play.
