Gaining Momentum: Sonja Takatori Hired as Senior Project Manager
We are pleased to welcome Sonja Takatori, CSM, PMP to Product Creation Studio’s project management team.
Sonja is one of a number of recent hires to support our company’s growth in the MedTech industry.
In recent decades, investment in medical device research and development has more than doubled in the United States. According to a report from The State of the U.S. MedTech Industry (2015), medical device research and development spending reached $2.9 billion in 2010 and $7.3 billion in 2011. From 2013 to 2020, larger medical device companies are expected to increase their research and development budgets by approximately three percent.
As a leading innovation city, Seattle is expected to play a dominant role in the continued growth of this industry in our region. Product Creation Studio is well-positioned to assist organizations along the West Coast with their development efforts.
At Product Creation Studio, Sonja will oversee and direct projects ensuring they meet or exceed team and client expectations by delivering them on-time and on-budget. She will also participate in the business development process, supporting the sales team in creating and delivering proposals.
"I'm joining Product Creation Studio at a true inflection point for the company, a time when we can realize the potential and opportunity for product design and development in the medical device industry," said Takatori. “I can’t think of a better company for the opportunity, and I’m proud to join this experienced team.”
