On Wednesday, January 25, please join our CTO Scott Thielman as he delivers the keynote speech, "Get Your Product to Market! Simple Steps for Design Success" at Bellevue's Grow50 Consortium event.
Product success depends on a mix of user psychology, design creativity and engineering execution. Learn how technology entrepreneurs integrate these disparate areas to bring a desirable product to market. This talk will explore the roles of consumer and designer, cover steps and strategies to create a holistic product experience and discuss design solutions involving hardware. Emphasis will be placed on identifying development gaps as well as practical approaches for product development teams. Lessons and examples from over two decades of design and engineering in the product creation process will be covered.
Scott holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington and he is a Washington State licensed professional engineer. He is also a proud member of Grow50, chairs the hardware committee for Keiretsu Forum and is a member of WINGS, the Washington Medical Technology Angel Network.
This event will start at noon with light lunch. The formal part of the meeting will be over at one, and attendees are encouraged to stick around for an hour of informal networking.
